SNOW PARKS AND TUBING

If you want to get out and play in the snow, it’s a short drive to a place to ride your own sled or visit a tube park!

Boreal’s Playland Tubing

Boreal has a tube park with all day tickets or 90 minute sessions.  The hills are groomed, tubes are provided and they have a moving carpet to get you back to the top of the hill!

Soda Springs Tube Town

Soda Springs’ tube park has up to 20 lanes and a lift to take you back to the top of the hill. Plant Kids has a snow playground with tubing carousels, tubing lanes and snow volcanoes.

Donner Summit Sno-Park

This sno-park is at the Boreal ski area turnoff and is open for all to use with either a day permit or annual pass; you will need to bring your own tube.

Heavenly Lake Tahoe

Take the gondola to Heavenly’s tubing hill.  It is over 500 feet long and has a magic carpet to take you back to the top.

Tahoe Donner Snowplay

This snow park is located near Truckee and has tubing lanes as well as tubes, sleds and other snow toys. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Tahoe Meadows

A local favorite, is the open meadows and hills just west of Mount Rose Summit along Hwy 341.  It is a big open area perfect for sledding, snowshoeing and more!  There is no cost to use this area, but roadside parking fills quickly.  Bring your own equipment!

Hours and features of all snow parks and snow play areas are subject to change.  Visit websites for snow conditions and seasonal hours.
