All Hallows’ Eve Family Halloween Event @ Churchill State Historic Park

Cost: $5 per NV resident vehicle / $7 per out of state vehicle

The event includes: pumpkin carving, games, scavenger hunts, scarecrow building.  Bring your own tools to carve your pumpkin and clothing to dress your scarecrow.

Virginia City Outhouse Races


Where:  Virginia City

When: October 7th-8th, 2017  12:00 (noon) – 4:00 p.m.

This Virginia City tradition began when outhouses were taken to the streets at a time that outdoor plumbing was outlawed.  Teams of 3 race their outdoor potty to the finish line.
